Siem Reap Hotel, Royal Empire Hotel, Near Angkor Shopping Arcade Night Market

What  a great place to stay... The rooms were immaculately clean as well as the lobby and the hallways.  

However, the service and friendlness of the staff outshone the the cleanliness.  While reading in the lounge I coughed once and a glass of cold water was at my table in 20 seconds.  When I needed to use the hotel computer they didn"t just  give me the password, they booted it for me.

Mr. Kao Vinsan (Sam)  made sure that if I needed assistance he would take care of it.  What a great job he does. 

I highly recommend  the Royal Empire Hotel.

Hi, I have stayed 4 days in hotels from Dec 27 to Dec 30. All the staff was very kind and facillaty was also excellent. My children enjoyed swimming pool while receiving very kind careness. I would like to specillay thanks to Mr Khan in the lobby store. He was very kind to us and even my picky children. We hope to visit again this hotel in near future.

I stayed for 6 nights during August – in a superior room, I think. As a single female I always felt safe and secure in this hotel. The main room was huge and comfortable. The bathroom had a full-sized bath! The pool area is very pretty and there is plenty of cover in case it rains. Every member of staff that I met was just lovely; room attendants, porters, restaurant staff, reception staff, shop staff, management. Everyone. I loved being here – the food is lovely and very good value. The buffet breakfasts are extremely varied and the chef will also cook eggs , soup etc as you like it. I spent time in Ho Chi Min City before and Kuala Lumpur after Siem Reap – and the time in Siem Reap was the best, partly due to this hotel and its people. I can also recommend Sam and Sok at Christinair Tours; they were both marvellous!

My husband and I have stayed here for 4 days. All staffs at hotel are nice and kept clean the room and pool always. Their buffet style break fast was also good, especially pho(soup noodle) is tasty! I enjoyed it every morning. The disappointing thing were credit card authority system did not work smoothly and it took so long time to verify.I think it 's better to pay cash than a credit card and another disappointing thing was shower ’ water temperature is a little bit low. I couldn't adjust the temperature. This hotel's location is a little far away from down town but it is no problem. We can take tuk tuk(Taxi) at very low fee. Stayed July 2011, travelled as a couple

Stay there from 6 Aug till 10 Aug. The hotel upgraded my room. Decorated my room foc with flowers on bed and bath tub. Very romantic. Foc welcome fruit basket. Helpful staff and always take care of your needs. Responses are fast.
